"Even though we are dry, we just need one push to touch your robe again."
Somebody prayed that today and after I heard those words I started balling with tears. Then I was reminded of this bible story…
And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and though she had spent all her living on physicians, she could not be healed by anyone. She came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, and immediately her discharge of blood ceased. And Jesus said, “Who was it that touched me?” When all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the crowds surround you and are pressing in on you!” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I perceive that power has gone out from me.” And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed. And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.” Luke 8:43-48
I started crying even more because something about the person that prayed had passion for God and that drew me to Him. Then one of my sisters came up to me and gave me a note. I hugged her and started crying even more. I felt so much love from hugging her and the note said, “In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” Jeremiah 29:12-13
After I got the same bible verse from another sister! Hallelujah.
I was reminded today that I’m still HIS beloved even though I been playing in the mud and ran away from him. I am HIS BELOVED and nothing can change that truth.
